Rentzel Christmas Party

This past weekend was our annual family Christmas Party in the city. All my cousins and Aunts and Uncles from my Dad's side of the family got together and enjoyed some great food and awesome company. We had so much fun together! My older sister's family ended up being sick except for Owen, so he got to go with Aunt Caroline! He had so much fun chasing cousin Natalie around the table, lap after lap! Here are some sweet pictures of my nephews with their coordinating Christmas outfits on. I am truly blessed and thankful that we all live close enough to get to see each other so often!

Hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas!

But Santa's coming... there's so much to do! -Elf

Everything is somewhat slowing down a bit before the holidays so I finally have a chance to share with you another session!

Not sure what it is but lately I've been diggin' black and white... don't get me wrong, color is beautiful (that golden light is stunning) but black and white has just made my heart sing lately! So, this post is purely black and white and I love it!

This sweet family was so great to work with! The whole family joined me at the park early on a game day to fight the wind, chill, and all those sooner fans to get these beautiful images. It was well worth it! Thanks again for the opportunity to photograph your family!

Look at these eyes and that smile

Cooper's First Christmas

Here is a preview of a session I did recently with my cousin Melissa and her family. After thanksgiving I stayed an extra day and got to hang out with them. We never really get to see each other as often as we'd like because she doesn't live in the same town as I do, but I find that Melissa and I are a lot a like! We love to joke around and listen to a lot of the same music, in fact her husband, Julian, actually commented on how we should just share an ipod!

It was great getting to see you guys! Here are a few pictures of them and their sweet baby.

STILL in the spirit of thanksgiving... I am also thankful for this family :)

Jenny is probably one of my favorite people in this entire world and everybody knows it. She and I danced and now teach at the same dance studio. She is a few years older than me and when I was younger she was one of my biggest role models. Then I probably couldn't pin point why I looked up to her so much and thought she was soo awesome, but I do now! She is one of the most strongest, dedicated, kind hearted, and sincere person I know. She has a heart for the Lord and she shows it daily. It has been so fun watching her and her family grow. From her telling us the story of her proposal from Chad during dance class to now having the opportunity to photograph her family Christmas pictures with her sweet boys. She has become a great friend and I am soo lucky! So again, I am thankful for your friendship Jen!

{Family}

I am kind of sad that all of the beautiful fall colors have began to fade. Luckily, I was able to capture this family right before the colors started to go. This sweet family was such a joy to work with. Ainsley is just precious and her parents are so fun and genuine. I look forward to future sessions with this family!

In the spirit of thanksgiving... I am thankful for this family!

I have been blessed to get to know this family over the past two years. Megan has become such a great friend and her two children, Emma and Sophie, are such a joy. They are the sweetest girls with very fun personalities. Thank you Megan for your friendship! Love you guys!
